Synopsis
Gokuu Son, a solitary youth, lives in the woods where he enjoys a peaceful existence until Bulma, a girl on a hunt for magical objects known as "Dragon Balls" that allegedly grant wishes to their finder, interrupts his tranquility. Bulma desires the wish to find her perfect partner, but Gokuu adamantly refuses to give up his Dragon Ball. Bulma offers a compromise that Gokuu joins her search in exchange for the Dragon Ball's power to aid her. As they team up, they embark on a thrilling journey that leads them to Muten-Roshi, an elderly man and his apprentice, Kuririn, who trains Gokuu in martial arts for the upcoming World Martial Arts Tournament. With the power to grant any wish, their quest inevitably attracts nefarious characters with their own agendas, so Gokuu and Bulma must both become stronger fighters to safeguard the Dragon Balls from potential exploitation. Along their travels, they put their newfound strengths to use, helping others they encounter along the way.
